Parent Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
AM Drop Off Parents and Buses – Main Parking Lot
· Bus loading and unloading is a priority. Buses exiting/entering the parking lot have priority over all other traffic.
· Students can be dropped off anytime between 7:40 am – 8:05 am.
· Dropping students off in front of the school in the gravel area is PROHIBITED.
· Do not stop in the middle of Old Mill Road in front of the school to watch your child walk in. This holds up traffic.
· Always allow the adults on duty to unload your child/children. During Drop off, parents are to remain in their cars.
· After 8:05 am parents are required to escort students into the front door to sign in.
· Follow all directions given by the adults on duty. Always allow the adult on duty to unload your child/children.
PM Pick Up Parents – Playground Bus Loop
· Parent pick up schedule is as follows:
o Students Last Name A – K 2:45 – 3:00
o Students Last Name L – Z 3:00 – 3:15
o If siblings have different last names, go by the oldest sibling.
· Gate will open at 2:45 pm. Enter the bus loop from the lower gate. Exit the bus loop by the dumpster.
· Follow the bus loop to specified area.
· Exit the school from the main parking lot. (Pay attention to the buses as well)
· Be mindful of traffic flow. If you are unable to turn onto Lonnie’s Lane due to traffic backup, please stop and allow cars to exit the parking lot. By not doing this the traffic back up only gets worse.
· NEVER block both lanes of Lonnie’s Lane, Old Mill Road or park in residential driveways.
· NEVER wait on Old Mill Road to enter for pick up – tickets may be given.
· Use only this year’s issued parent pick up sign (violet signs). Always have this sign visible and easy for staff to see. YOU MUST USE HAVE YOUR SIGN EVERYDAY!
· Make all relatives and/or friends aware of these procedures as well.
